The views over the rooftops of Locarno and Ascona are incredible, with the lake and mountains visible from every room. We especially loved the terrace, the parasol and loungers, and the lounge under the grapevines. Inside, everything was spotless and well equipped, from the washing machine and dryer to the dishwasher, Nespresso machine, and plenty of dishes. There are more than 80 steps to climb, as the description mentions, though that may not be entirely clear, and parking is quite a way off. You can pull closer briefly to unload, but you'll still have the stairs. The view makes up for it, and we'd definitely return.
