Getting around was easy from Harry’s Home Hotel & Apartment: the train station is right beside it, and Bus 10 goes straight to the city center. Underground parking is plentiful at 25 CHF a night. Reception was friendly and helpful, and with their guidance I quickly got the free public transport pass offered through their partner company. We stayed in a spacious connecting two-bedroom apartment. The beds were comfortable, though the quilts felt a bit small for taller or bigger guests. There were plenty of large, soft towels, and it was useful having a bathtub in one bathroom and a standing shower in the other. The bathrooms only had all-in-one soap, so bring your own toiletries if you need them. The room stayed warm and stuffy even with the air-conditioning set to its lowest setting in every room, and we found it uncomfortable to sleep. Housekeeping also seemed rushed: there were used contact lenses in the bathroom and a noticeable layer of dust on the sofa. The laundry area was clean and maintained, but using it was confusing. Washing costs 2 CHF and drying costs 2 CHF. When the wash finishes, you have to pay another 1 CHF just to open the door and get your clothes, which basically leaves the next person with a free wash. There’s no detergent in the machine, so bring your own if you plan to do laundry.
