Hotel Allegra Pontresina

The staff are friendly, and breakfast is good. Our room was spacious, modern, clean, and convenient. There’s parking too, though a few of the spaces are a bit tight. A great place to stay in Pontresina.

We were welcomed warmly and given lots of helpful information and options. The hotel is right in the center, with a cozy bar, a welcome muffin and fruit, and a coffee machine with several pods. The large breakfast selection was a plus, and use of all mountain railways was included. We also had free, unlimited access to the Bellavita adventure pool and spa, even multiple times a day, via a direct underground passage. The modern rooms are beautiful and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a great view. Parking is tight, the shower cubicle could be better, and the mattresses aren’t quite perfect anymore.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the service was warm and professional, and the facilities were better than we expected. A lovely base for relaxing and exploring the area, highly recommended!

The room was spacious, with two windows, breathtaking views, a huge bathtub, and extra towels and slippers for the underground walk to the spa. Transport, the lifts, and use of the luxurious spa were all included. Breakfast was exceptional, both for the food and because they’d make eggs the way you wanted them. They picked us up at the train station and drove us back when we left. I’d never had that kind of service before. Manager Regina came to greet us personally. When I twisted my ankle, they brought me ice in a nicely packed bundle, and Melany, a former nurse, checked my bandage and redid it. I saw other reviews saying people didn’t want to leave. Same here!
