We didn’t have enough appetite to try the restaurant speciality, but I’ll definitely return for the chicken they’re so well known for. The family running the hotel made us feel welcome in Sisikon, and the rooms were spacious and clean, with really comfortable beds. In early spring the room temperature was just right, so we didn’t miss having AC. Highly recommended for people hiking the Weg der Schweiz.

We finally tried Sternen after I’d driven past it so many times on my way to another place for "Poulet im Körbli". Wow, it was delicious. I even had two! Easily the best Poulet im Korbli in this area. Don’t miss it.

The service was attentive and friendly, and the prices seemed very reasonable for the quality. We paid 70chf for two half chickens, a large sharing Salat teller with cheese and meat, barley soup, and two drinks. I was pleasantly surprised by the chicken, which was organic and free range, and the salad plate was generous with fresh ingredients. We ate here while driving from Zurich to Saas Fee.

Our family of six had plenty of space, and the room was clean with a beautiful view. Just watch out on the stairs leading up to it, they were super steep and easy to fall on. A nice place to stay.

We stopped for lunch expecting the usual Swiss dish, Poulet im Körbli, and got a surprise. This family-run hotel-restaurant gives it an Indian twist. It was prepared with love and finger-licking good.
