The views around the hotel are lovely, and it sits right across from a tiny, cute train station. We had a nice breakfast buffet included. The staff were really friendly, and our room was cozy and very nice, though small. The bed felt a bit small for me, but I’d definitely recommend staying here if you want to enjoy the scenic train ride between Switzerland and Italy.

We got excellent value at Bernina Suot, conveniently close to Pontresina and Bernina Diavolezza. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and kind. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner was a treat too, with flavorful food made from local ingredients.

We spent two nights here and had a very good stay. The location was awesome, and both the restaurant and hotel staff were great. The service was good too. What let the room down for me was the bedding and shower: the bed wasn’t comfortable, and I couldn’t get the water to a workable temperature. It kept swinging between too hot and too cold, no matter how much I tried. That’s why I took off one star. Apart from that, I loved staying here and would be happy to return for the great location.

The peaceful setting and wonderful views made this stay feel special. Gasthaus & Hotel Berninahaus was clean and very well sanitized, and every employee we met was polite, considerate, and thoughtful. The food was another highlight, with distinctive dishes that were absolutely delicious. Thanks to everyone for an unforgettable visit. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Switzerland.

We stayed in early July and loved it. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the place was welcoming, with kind people and beautiful scenery all around. It’s right across from the train station, one stop from the Diavolezza cable car, and a couple of stops from the White Lake towards Tirano or the Morteratsch Waterfalls towards St Moritz. There’s plenty to see and do nearby, and you can hop on and off the train to walk as much as you like. We didn’t bring our dog, but it’s clearly a dog-friendly place; lots of guests had big dogs with them. Hope we can come back next year!
