Hotel Hecht

There’s a restaurant at the hotel with a good menu, and they also serve breakfast and offer lunch boxes for an extra charge. I booked a room with two beds, and the price was very reasonable. Parking is free, and they gave me a WiFi code. The rooms were clean and air conditioned. It’s a basic two-star hotel, but had what I needed for a comfortable stay. Staff welcomed me warmly, and check-in was quick and easy. Just keep in mind that all the rooms are one or two flights of stairs up, with no elevator, which may matter if you have mobility issues. I was very happy with my choice :)

We had an amazing view, and the town is small, pleasant, and has nice buildings. It’s close to the Austrian border and Boden see, and you can also get there from Germany via the local roads. This was a great place to spend a night in transit, with the autobahn nearby, friendly staff who speak very good English, and free parking. There’s no elevator to the rooms, though a wheelchair lift is available.

Even before you’re officially a customer, the staff are willing to help. Their warmth and passion for their work and for customers really come through. They make you feel like the customer is king. Amazing!

I was here for a month for work, and I’m looking forward to coming back. It’s a cool little hotel in a beautiful village, run by a lovely young couple who were very helpful and friendly.
