The mattresses weren't very comfortable, almost like sleeping on wood. Still, at this price in Switzerland, it's a pretty decent deal. The place was clean, the breakfast was good, and the location right by the train station is perfect.

We stayed here in June 2023, my child and I, and found the former silk factory full of charm and atmosphere. It's right on the lake, and breakfast was fabulous. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful too. Someone who reviewed it before said the dairy and meat focus at breakfast wasn't sustainable, but I found the food was thoughtfully and responsibly sourced.

The neighborhood is so quiet, and the view is heavenly. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, with a magnificent natural view, and the train station is an easy walk away. The downside is that check-in is only at five in the afternoon, like at many other youth hostels.

A family-friendly place with friendly staff and really good breakfast. It's a comfortable, budget-friendly stay near Zurich, close to the lake and a big park. Zurich main station is about 30 minutes away by train.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the hospitality was nice. I slept quietly, even with the trains right under my window. The room could have been cleaned a little better, but everything else was tip top, including breakfast.
