Our family group had three apartments, and each was warm in winter, with its own kitchen, fridge, bathroom, and incredible views over the Lago Maggiore. Martina was a gracious, attentive host, adding thoughtful touches like Christmas decorations. The lovely private garden gives access to the lake, which I imagine would be perfect for swimming in summer. We enjoyed eating out at the excellent local restaurants, but it was also great to cook in the apartments. Right across the road, a lovely Bottega sells brioche, coffee, and lunch. Ascona, Locarno, and Brissago are easy to reach by bus, and the ferry stop for Porto Ronco is nearby. These apartments couldn’t have been more perfect for a holiday.

The bus stop is right nearby, so day trips were easy even without a car. There are no shops close by, but the bakery across the street has everything for a good breakfast, from sandwiches and rolls to croissants. I came looking for a few quiet days and got exactly that. The apartment was small and cosy, with everything needed for a lovely holiday and a breathtaking view of the lake, mountains, and island. Stairs lead down to a beautifully kept private garden with direct access to the lake. The hosts were wonderful, friendly, and always happy to chat. I felt completely at ease and can wholeheartedly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be back. Grazie mille!!!

The well-kept property has a small garden with direct lake access, sun loungers, parasols, a pergola, and a barbecue, everything you could want for a holiday. The rooms are very clean, with fantastic views of the lake, the opposite mountains, and the Brissago Islands. Everything is lovingly arranged, and the owners are friendly and helpful. Simply perfect, highly recommended!
