We got lucky and found a table without a reservation. The lake views were fantastic, and the food was really tasty. There are several classic dishes on the menu, done very well.

The menu has a decent choice and the service was excellent, but the portions, at least for the fish, felt disappointingly small for the price. Tucked behind the church, the hotel and restaurant reward you with an outstanding view. It’s still a gem.

We were lucky to get the very last outdoor table without a reservation, with a truly breathtaking view. The food was amazing too. I especially recommend “tartare Di Mondo CH con Pane Casereccio” and “ Risotto al Limone, Prosecco e Pesce di Lago”. The other dishes and desserts were delicious as well. Great place and service, with a view you can’t replicate. Thanks for a perfect dinner during our holiday!

The old stone alley on the left side of the restaurant is something special, and I often walk along it in the evening. Its rounded stones massage my tired feet after a long day. Dinner outside on the big terrace is always a nice way to show friends visiting Ronco sopra Ascona the lovely surroundings. There’s a nice view of Lago Maggiore too. A nice place to be.

The staff were so friendly, the kitchen was good, and the view of Lago Maggiore was lovely. The room was very cozy, with the most comfortable bed.
