The restaurant was a real highlight for us. We enjoyed the fish and lasagna by the window, and the tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. The octopus with potato puree was wonderful too. Breakfast came with the room and had a great selection, including fresh bread and eggs cooked for three or four minutes. The service was warm and personable. The hotel sits right by Lake Maggiore and the port, making it easy to catch boats to the isle de Brissago, Loacano, and other destinations.

A great spot right on the lake, with clean, pleasant rooms and a very good restaurant. Just be aware there’s no elevator.

The quiet, sweeping lake views were a real highlight, with snow-capped Alpine peaks visible in the distance. We stopped for dinner on our way from Stresa to Lugano, and the food and atmosphere made it one of the best parts of our trip. The staff were welcoming and courteous. We’d love to come back when we’re in the area.

Breakfast on the terrace above the water was lovely, and waking up to the lake view felt priceless. The staff are lovely, the hotel is cosy, and the food is great. We loved everything and can’t wait to return.

The setting is beautiful, with a spectacular view of the lake, but the food was below average and poor value. The ravioli was nothing special, to put it mildly, and the tomato salad didn’t make up for it. The bread they brought was dry and clearly not fresh.
