The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a lovely view over the lake. The service was excellent. Best hotel in Rapperswil.

A great hotel with good service. They responded really well to two minor incidents.

We visited today (June 4, 2026), and the service barely communicated with us. The latte macchiato, at 7 CHF, was just milky coffee with no foam, see picture. My tiramisu arrived still frozen, and it was made with treated cream instead of mascarpone. The tea came in a tiny cup, with a tea bag that costs 20 cents but was sold for 6 francs. I can see why all the restaurants next door were full while we were the only customers here.

The terrace is lovely, and they ask quickly what you'd like. But it takes quite a while for the staff at the buffet at the back to get your order ready.

The restaurant is in a good location, but there are no markings on the entrance stairs for visually impaired people. They're hard to make out in bad weather, and they don't comply with current Swiss disability law.
