The food was unbelievable, the wine was great, and the service was fantastic. I ordered the menu du jour and enjoyed it so much I'd gladly try anything on the menu. The starter's salad dressing tasted like my grandma's, and I nearly asked for a bowl of it. Fresh, tasty bread had a firm crust, a light, spongy middle, and a little sprinkle of seeds. For the main, I had vol au vent with chicken and mushroom on lettuce. It was incredible, with delicate herbs, rich, perfectly cooked puff pastry, thin mushrooms, and tender chicken. The rice was just right and made a good base for the sauce, which was creamy, full of flavour, and nicely balanced. It was my birthday, so I went for dessert too: pineapple carpaccio with piña colada sorbet. Sweet but not sickly, light yet filling, flavourful and refreshing, with alpine petals and a candle 🎂🥰 The menu du jour starter and main is only CHF20.-, so the restaurant is amazing and entirely affordable. I'd recommend it to everyone. Bravo Chef Burri! 🤩🤤

The bistro-style food was varied and delicious, and their take on entrecôte comes with butter sauce and excellent fries. We had lunch yesterday and really enjoyed it. The restaurant has been renovated, with a new cook and staff, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the menu changes for winter.

That homemade salad dressing, apparently grandma’s recipe, really stood out. The chocolate mousse and crumble were delicious too, light enough to enjoy even when full. I had a burger for Sunday lunch and loved it. Chef Buri and the new team have done a great job with the menu. Such a nice rediscovery. Definitely recommend eating here :)

There’s a decent mountain view from this cozy, clean, quiet little hotel, though our room had no balcony. It had two twin beds pushed together to make something like a king, plus a third twin bed, which could be handy if you’re traveling with a child.
