The cheese fondue I had on my last visit was amazing, and I’d definitely come back. This time, the ingredients and food quality at the „Bistro“ side of the VaLrose were undeniably excellent. The kids’ cheeseburger was outstanding, with a perfectly cooked patty and a great bun that was slightly crunchy. Nuggets and homemade fries were just as good, crispy outside and soft inside. The regional meat platter and Caesar salad were delicious, with fresh, well-prepared ingredients. Service was generally good, but it started slowly and seemed a bit uncoordinated, even though the place wasn’t full.

The burgers were okay, but the salad we started with had so much dressing that it overpowered everything. Service was terrible, unfriendly, and inattentive. We had dinner the other day and left unimpressed. They can and should do better. Hopefully it was just a stormy night.
