The rooms are on the small side but work fine, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The pool and spa are fantastic, set in a dramatic location. Highly recommended.

We were grateful to have dinner at the hotel after everything that happened, and it was really good. You need to book, and the healthy three-course meal was reasonably priced, so we didn't have to head back out into the snow. Breakfast was good too. The spa alone would make a stay worthwhile: it's large, modern and clean, with plenty of facilities, dark granite surroundings and lovely views of the snowy mountains. I tried Aufguss in the sauna for the first time and loved it. The rooms were basic, clean and practical, with a great shower. It's a five-minute walk to the car park and another five minutes to the closest ski lift. Our original hotel left us stuck at the car park at night. A kind stranger we met there drove us to Wellness 4000 to get us out of the snow and see if staff could help. The receptionist tried for about an hour to reach our hotel, but there was no luck. Wellness 4000 had a spare room, and although we were first told we'd have to change rooms the next day, the receptionist helped arrange things so we could stay put. Thank you for taking us in that night and rescuing us :)

There's a lovely view from the terrace, the room, the dining area and even the swimming pool. The rooms are very modern, though it's expensive for a hostel. Breakfast was a nice buffet, and there are good dinner options. Reception service could be a little quicker. One useful thing to know: cable cars and buses are free in summer when you stay in Saas-Fee!

People here are really good, and the spa is a big plus, though it's a naked spa. The location is central in the village, but getting to the ski chairlift is quite a walk. The rooms are simple, nothing fancy. Totally fine for a night or two, hostel style with a Swiss feel.
