Chalet OTT - apartment in the mountains

The apartment had everything we needed and more, and it was spacious and clean. We came to ski and were glad we chose this place. The view was amazing, with mountains and forests, and we even spotted a deer right outside. Jillian and David were wonderful hosts and took care of everything we needed. I’d highly recommend it.

Our family, with an infant and a baby, found the apartment a good size and had all the equipment we needed. Even the fridge and cupboards had basics like coffee, milk and condiments. Our son enjoyed the garden toys, and Basse Ruche was close by, handy for a couple of mornings of skiing. Jillian and David were helpful before and throughout our stay, and quick to answer our questions. We had a very positive visit, would definitely recommend it, and hope to come back.

We’ve just come back from our third winter week at Chalet OTT, and already booked for 2021. The Ott family, Jilli, David, Alex and Theo, have become like our Swiss family. They’re so warm and helpful. The Chateau apartment has everything we could need and incredible views, right in the charming village of San Cergue with its cafes, restaurants, local activities and lovely small-town feel. We love the area too. There’s beautiful alpine scenery in Switzerland and nearby France, plus kilometers of Nordic ski trails, husky sled mushing, snowshoe hikes, and good food in all sorts of places. European spas are about 1.5 hours away. Winter here feels like a real wonderland. We’re told the Chateau is just as beautiful in other seasons, when cycling and nature hikes become options as the snow melts. I doubt anyone would be disappointed whatever time of year they visit. Highly recommend.

The chalet is lovely and the hosts are super. The station and ski slopes are only a few minutes away on foot, with fabulous walks just steps from the door. Thanks, Jill, David and the boys!
