Jurabelle

We all had such a wonderful weekend with our family at Jurabelle, and would love to return. Christoph and Béstrice, thanks so much for your generous hospitality. Your warmth and professionalism are a big part of what makes Jurabelle special. You’re truly the heart and soul of the place.

Breakfast had a surprisingly wide selection, and the B&B is furnished with so much care. The hosts are the best. We’d happily come back again and again, even though it’s not in a central spot. Hiking and cycling routes begin right outside the door.

Wonderful surroundings and a beautiful location for this guesthouse. It feels very welcoming, and the breakfast was fantastic, with most of it homemade.

The breakfast buffet was a real treat, with all kinds of jam, meat, cheese and cereal, homemade braided bread and bread from the nearby bakery. The room was peaceful, with lots of wood, a cozy feel, a comfortable bed and its own shower. After we checked in, the hosts walked us through the kitchen and pointed out the cheese dairy, bakery and small restaurant, then suggested a dessert. Their recommendation was spot on. They’re warm hosts in a cozy, welcoming house, the kind of people who still understand hospitality. It’s easy to get chatting with other guests if you feel like it. A peaceful place to stay, with lovely walking trails and good snowshoeing. The landscape brought Scandinavia and Canada to mind, without having to travel so far.
