I’ve stayed here twice and already plan to come back this year. The food at the restaurant is SO good, and there are lovely spots around the campsite to unwind: hammocks, tables with flowers where you can sit with a drink and watch the sunset, and plenty of space. The family bathrooms are huge and have everything you need; the individual bathrooms are great too. Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout the site, and the staff were really nice. The setting is amazing, with beautiful hiking trails in every direction and the beautiful inn next door. You can see private jets landing nearby, but the planes make hardly any noise. Best campsite I’ve ever been to. If you’re looking for somewhere to camp, go here!

The campsite is well looked after, and there’s a kitchen and dining room guests can use. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. I arrived after reception had closed at 6 p.m., but found out you can book online at any time, choose your pitch, and pay there, which was really convenient. There’s a small airport beside the site, and takeoffs can be noisy sometimes, though it didn’t bother me.

We booked a bungalow for three nights and had such a lovely stay. It felt like a tiny home, cosy and stocked with everything we needed. The views from it were gorgeous. The campsite is small, clean, and very well organized, and the staff are extremely friendly. We loved the whole experience and will definitely return.

The forest tent pitches were our favourite, level and nicely spaced from the neighbouring spots. The camp kitchen was outstanding, and they put out fresh tea towels every day. With those beautiful views and lovely walks nearby, this was the best campsite we’ve stayed at.

We found this place tucked away at the end of a track near the gliding club airfield, with barely any signs, and it turned out to be a complete surprise. Over three weeks touring Europe in a convertible, we didn’t find better bathrooms, even in the hotels, or better food. The staff were fantastic, and the site felt quiet and out of the way except for the occasional light aircraft. There are lodges if you don’t want to camp, and the pitches are large, among the trees, and well spaced. Streams, lakes, woods, and trails go on and on. Easily the best campsite I’ve ever visited. Fabulous.
