We stayed for two nights as two couples and would happily come back. Tamara, the owner, was friendly, helpful, and professional, and so was the whole team. It's a real gem in lovely Samedan. The rooms and beds were comfortable, the showers had good pressure, and breakfast was good. The railway station and some great restaurants are close by.

We had a lovely stay with our two little kids. I wouldn't call the hotel specifically baby friendly, especially with all the stairs, but the staff helped make things run smoothly. Thanks in particular to Tamara, Florentina, and Lucian. The rooms were cosy, breakfast was nice, and everyone was kind and helpful. The ski room is awkward because it can't be opened from outside. You have to go up and down the stairs first to get it open and put your skis away. And the breakfast room's “joke of the day” is more like the joke of the month, it hadn't changed for a month 😜

We appreciated the free garage parking for our motorbike. The location beside the church was handy, though the bells rang every quarter hour, day and night. Breakfast was decent but nothing special, and the rooms vary, with some looking very old, perhaps because they're under a preservation order. The smoke smell was what we really disliked. It was around much of the building, and even the towels in our shower smelled of cigarettes.

The room was spacious and clean, with a wood interior that made it feel nice to stay in. The building is decorated beautifully inside, and we really appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality.
