Hotel Cresta

The breakfast was amazing, and we had a great four-day stay with pretty much everything we needed. Rooms were nice, though some were nicer than others. We had to ask for shampoo every day because the small sachets weren't replaced, so bring your own. The pool, which is 20m, and spa are separate and a five-minute walk away. Buses to the cabin lift run frequently early in the day, and a nice blue run finishes about 50m from the entrance. Prices are higher than on the Austria side, but there was literally no availability there. We also had an unexpected parking expense, and I think parking would be better included in the already quite high standard price.

The people who run this hotel were so kind and welcoming, and did everything they could to make us feel at home. They also communicated impeccably, and the owners speak English very well, which helped since my German is a bit rusty. The location is perfect, near good restaurants, with the pickup bus right outside and a ski run that takes you back to the hotel. The hotel is beautiful, with big, cozy rooms and a view that speaks for itself. The breakfast buffet had all we needed, from different cereals and bread to cold cuts, bacon and eggs. I went to Cresta Hotel for a short four-day ski trip, and it was one of my best. I'll definitely come back. See you next year!

The companion restaurant, Almrausch, had great food and very friendly staff. At the W[H]einino bar, the gin selection is seriously huge, with over 40 to choose from. Breakfast was refreshingly varied, and service was courteous, friendly and accommodating throughout. We stayed two nights near the end of summer. On arrival, the manager said, 'give them the room instead', and moved us from the ground floor to possibly the best view in the place, on the top, third floor. Our room was clean and cozy, with a modern bathroom and even a bathtub. Wifi was easy to connect to and stable. I can definitely recommend staying here.

The ski run comes almost right to the hotel entrance, and the free ski bus stops just in front to take you easily to the lifts. The hotel is quiet and very nice, with a fantastic mountain view. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and guests can use the sauna for free. There are enough parking spaces, and the elevator makes it easy to get luggage up to the rooms.
