Ibis Styles St Margrethen Bodensee

The breakfast alone made this stay stand out from the other ibis Styles hotels we've tried lately. There was plenty of variety and the quality was great, so it felt like good value. We liked it enough to book another visit for December. Our room was clean, comfortable and lovely, though the double duvet felt a little small. We asked for another duvet and an extra pillow, and they were brought to our room promptly. We were there for two nights with our dog, and every receptionist and staff member we met was friendly, polite, attentive and welcoming to dogs. Highly recommended.

The staff were the best part of our visit. Everyone we met made a point of talking to us, and they were kind and welcoming throughout. Thank you all. We arrived by train in St Margrethen, and the hotel was an easy short walk away. It's a lovely, smart-looking building, with clean, comfortable rooms. The place was very quiet, and Mineralheidbad is conveniently just across the street. Breakfast costs extra, but I thought it was well worth it. There was a lot to choose from. I especially enjoyed the bircher, and my kids had fun with the pancake machine. I'd happily stay again if I'm in the area and recommend it.

The location is convenient, and accessible parking is fairly close by. Breakfast was excellent.

The whole team was so sincerely kind and helpful, and they took great care of us during our short stay. It was our first time in Switzerland, and this hotel was just great. We can only recommend it. Many thanks to the team.
