We had a lovely stay. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean, and had a comfortable bed, plus a stunning view of the Swiss mountains. We ate at the hotel restaurant too. My steak was cooked just right, and my wife loved the monkfish.

The food was delicious and the service was superb, with a wonderfully welcoming Family who made us feel at home. There’s everything you could want, and more. The view across Appenzell to the mountains is stunning and gave us a real dose of Swissness. I’d give them 6 stars if I could!

The view over Appenzell and the mountains was great, and the staff were super friendly. Our room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was wonderful. A very good stay.

We called around midnight while looking for a hotel, and they were friendly and helpful, giving us great service. They speak English very well. 5/5.

The view is fabulous, and the hospitality is great. Really good food, too, with what has to be the best kitchen in the region.
