Hotel Bahnhof

Breakfast was included, with a charcuterie tray, fruit, and delicious crusty bread. We also had a great dinner, ordering two different veal dishes and enjoying both. The food was clean and delicious, and the staff were pleasant and spoke decent English. It's a cute little place, and our room felt cozy, though I hadn't realized the beds were separate. One thing to know: despite what the Expedia listing says, there are no laundry facilities.

Schüpfen is a quaint little town, and everything you need is within walking distance. The people running the hotel are fantastic, and the food is unbelievable. I've stayed in places all over the world, but this has been my number one.

My dog was welcome, which was the best part. The room was tiny but clean and had everything we needed. The only reason I'm taking off a star is the mattress, which had a dip that gave me back pain. The restaurant food and breakfast were simple but really good, and the staff were friendly and always smiling. There's a small shop for sweets, drinks, bread, cornflakes, marmalade, and other basics. The hotel is directly across from the station, and there's a huge free parking lot beside it.

The room was basic but clean and comfortable, the bed was good, and the shower worked without any trouble. Breakfast came with fresh bread and rolls, ham and cheese, jam, yoghurt, juice, and a hot drink. Coffee was good, but the tea was horrible. The staff don't speak English very well, though my stay was very nice overall. This is a convenient choice if you can't stay in the city. The hotel is right next to the station, with trains to Bern every 30 minutes and a journey of about 12-15 minutes.
