Kari's Beizli

The location is the highlight, with gorgeous views that shift by the hour. You can see the valley, then watch it vanish under the clouds. The rooms are plain, and the atmosphere didn't feel very pleasant. At check-in, after paying, guests were told to mention any problems, but the service itself wasn't great. Breakfast was enough, though pretty basic.

The view was fantastic, and the room, bathroom, and kitchen were all clean. Getting there, though, was a challenge. We got a brief, businesslike welcome, and it felt like we should have been invited to ask for anything we needed. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. There was no cheese or meat, so we brought our own.

We knew the drive up might be rough, but it still wasn't a pleasant road. Such a pity, because the view from there was incredibly beautiful.

What a view! The holiday apartment was very well kept and had everything we needed. The host family were friendly, and the cats were lovely.
