The Malgiarittas are so kind and helpful, and we’d love to return to their lovely bungalows in Scuol’s charming lower village. They’re well equipped, with comfortable beds and spacious rooms. We especially liked having a private garden with a barbecue for summer, and the sound of the rushing stream nearby. There’s plenty to do in Scuol even if you don’t ski. The hiking trails are beautiful and well maintained, including in winter. With the guest card, bus and train trips to Zernez are free.

The houses are attractive and well located, the landlords are friendly, and the price is good for what you get. But after ten years, they’re due for an upgrade and some light renovation. The mattresses are completely worn, and the IKEA furniture doesn’t suit the houses. Several unrepaired damages leave a poor impression. Snow clearing happens far too late, often only in the afternoon, and the kitchen equipment is old, sometimes impractical, or too small, including the waste bin. In winter, I’d recommend a 4x4 vehicle and bringing your own snow shovel, since the snow isn’t cleared in the morning. There’s an extra charge for bringing and washing pets.

The houses at Malgiarittas were fantastic, and we had a wonderful holiday in Scuol. Everything was clean, lovely and quiet, with the local bus stop still close by. Thanks so much, we’re already looking forward to coming back next time.

The holiday houses have everything you need, and the whirlpool and gas grill at each one are nice extras. The landlord is friendly and easy-going, and I thought the price was fair for what you get. The beds and mattresses weren’t very comfortable, though, and after three nights my back hurt. Some lounge chairs were broken and rusty, and the Wi-Fi was almost unusable if you need internet.

The owners are generous, warm, and helpful. The accommodation itself is spacious, comfortable, and affordable, and in winter the free bus makes it easy to get to the ski area.
