We stopped in as night was falling during a weekend trip to Milan. Adrian, the friendly and funny owner, offered us a fair rate and welcome drinks, plus a free ride on the Bergbahn to the Naluns skiing area included in the package. The rooms were clean and breakfast was very good. The location and especially the outstanding staff made the place stand out. Thanks!

We felt at home right away. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, and our room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. We ate at the restaurant three times during our stay. The waiters were kind and professional, and happy to speak French, German, or English as needed. The food was excellent, especially the starters. We’ll definitely return.

The kitchen is one of the real highlights: the chef is a wizard, the wine list is thoughtfully put together, and service is both efficient and delightful. The family running this impeccably cared-for hotel are a delight. Its rooms are lovely, and despite being just steps from the train station and major cable car, it’s quiet and relaxing. The trains come and go quietly since this is the end of the line. It’s an ideal base for exploring the Lower Engadine Valley, one of Switzerland’s best-kept secrets.
