It feels like a wonderful, cozy Engadin restaurant, with local prices and the region's well-known creativity. You don't get the sense you're in one of those hyped-up Zurich restaurants, at least not when the bill comes. Service was great, and the staff were very friendly. The regional dishes were a treat: a super-tender pumpkin foam amuse-bouche, perfectly cooked soup, heavenly capuns, and then the best Büntner nut cake I've ever had. For something from across the nearby border, the cicorino rosso with its incredible garlic and anchovy sauce was amazing.

The management team were easy to reach both before the trip and during my stay. The location was convenient: a short walk to town, an even shorter one to a bus for the train station and lift, and a parking lot across the quiet street, though it costs extra. I stayed in mid-September 2024. My room was on the second floor with no elevator and was just the right size for me, about like a New York City hotel room. It was clean and modern, and the balcony view was awesome.

Our studio felt much larger than any other hotel studio I've stayed in, and it was very modern. The reception and restaurant staff were always really nice to us, and we enjoyed the morning buffet.
