The hotel was cozy and clean, and the Russi family made us feel so welcome. We had great food and drinks, with friendly, professional service. I spent a week there and would happily spend every week at Hotel La Cruna.

There are plenty of tasty choices here, whether you're vegetarian or a meat lover. Really good restaurant.

I especially like the golf course in Sedrun, where you hit your drive over the Rhine on the 9th hole. The area is also great for biking and hiking in summer, while in winter the hotel connects to the Swiss Alps ski resort. You get the skiing without Andermatt's super busy atmosphere. It's a quaint little place with quality 3 star rooms. The restaurant food is always high quality, and the La Cruna burger is worth trying.

The hotel's menu is limited, though what we ate was fine. The location is fairly central, with a supermarket and restaurants about a ten minute walk away, but there isn't much to do here. The place is small and a bit old fashioned, and could use a makeover. After staying in modern, well equipped hotels before this, I was disappointed. Would I come back? Sorry, no.

The restaurant's decor is nice, but the dishes didn't satisfy us. The fries were frozen and tasteless, more like chips, and the mixed salad was missing the crotons it should have had. Service was only just acceptable. We went there for dinner, but it didn't meet our expectations.
