It’s very new, clean, and well organized, with plenty of space compared with other hotels or apartments. You could easily stay longer or come with more people, and parking right in front of the door is convenient. Check-in is also well organized. Checkout is technically unattended, so remember not to leave anything in the apartment. The beds are quite soft, and the pillow is so huge it could be called a mountain. I stayed in two different rooms, and the reception was poor in both, so that should be adjusted.

The kitchen has the basics for getting by: cutlery, pans, dishes, glasses, mugs, an electric oven, and an induction hob. The knives are so dull you can crush a tomato but not slice it. The Tassimo coffee machine works great, and the fridge is small but usable. Still, the apartment has plenty of problems. Roaches kept showing up in different spots, including the TV, walls, kitchen cabinets, curtains, and shower. The furniture needs replacing or reupholstering. The bathroom and bedroom have sliding panels instead of doors, with no sound isolation or locks, which feels odd and useless. Cleaning happens once a week on Monday, and garbage is collected Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The TV remote only works close to the TV, so you have to get up from the couch to change channels. Internet cuts out often, and it can take 1 to 12 hours to come back. If you’re a foreigner without a local internet subscription, you’re pretty much stuck. The nearby church bells ring at very irregular times, including 6 in the morning, 14.00, 18.00, and 00.00, which is annoying if you don’t like that sound. With no mosquito nets, all kinds of bugs can get inside. If you’re staying a while and expect mail, it’s left at reception and hung on a plastic holder on the door. Nobody knocks or lets you know, so it might sit there for a while if you don’t notice it.

My room was on the main street and so noisy I couldn’t sleep at night. Cars were constantly passing, with church bells ringing every half hour as well. The bathrooms smelled of bad canalization, and my room had dirty windows and was covered in spider webs. Management was disrespectful, disorganized, and chaotic, and gave me the wrong room. The personnel didn’t know how to use the kitchen appliances, and there wasn’t even an instruction manual. Hygiene was poor. If you want decent service and quality sleep, stay away.

The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable mattress and everything you need. Service was great.
