The house specialty is the veal liver, or "kalbsleberli," and it’s well worth trying. This is a great traditional restaurant, and all the meat is locally sourced.

We found the prices very reasonable for the freshly prepared, delicious food. The host was so friendly and clearly puts a lot of passion into looking after guests. Whether you’re hiking, cycling, or driving through, the inn is worth a stop. Many thanks! We’ll certainly recommend the Gasthof zum Roten Thurm to our friends and family.

Mr. Mühlemann catered our wedding, and we were thrilled with how it went. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and he handled all our wishes with real professionalism. Our guests were delighted too. We’d definitely book his catering again! :)
