Chalet Otium - Egglen

The outdoor spaces had beautiful mountain views, and inside Chalet Egglen felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. Everything had been thoughtfully set up, even prayer mats and soothing Swiss music. We had cosy places to relax, warm showers, a jacuzzi, and spacious living areas, all with a traveller's comfort in mind. Dr. Markus Achermann was especially attentive and genuinely hospitable. That personal care made our stay unforgettable. Chalet Egglen feels like a home away from home, and I'd return in a heartbeat.

Sigriswil was a lovely little village for our daily walks, with shops, a very good Coop grocery store, and a nice hotel for a drink or a meal. The chalet's location also made it easy to explore nearby Thun and other beautiful towns, while still being quiet and idyllic. We stayed for two weeks. The photos don't do this gorgeous place justice, and the views are fantastic. It was very clean and well equipped, and Markus was a wonderful host. He met us on arrival to explain things, then checked in during our stay to make sure we were comfortable. We recommend it very highly. You won't be disappointed.

We needed somewhere peaceful to finish a long trip, and this was just right. The area is so quiet and relaxing, the views are spectacular, and the host is very kind. Stunning place, 11/10, would highly recommend.
