I had dinner here in September 2018, and the special was veal with porcini mushrooms. It was amazing. It felt like the goal was to bring all these different flavors together into little bursts, building to a fireworks finale, instead of just running a restaurant to make money.

It's a great local spot, and works well with kids too. The food was delicious, the hosts were warm and friendly, and the view is truly spectacular. The drive here will make you appreciate the meal even more.

We came for game, which is in season in October and early November, and it was quite delicious. The food was very good, and the location is beautiful. From the right window front, there's a fantastic view over Lake Thun. Keep in mind they're closed from November through April.
