The outdoor seating was lovely on a sunny evening in late September, and the service was great. But this is only about the hotel bar, and whoever made my Manhattan got the drink badly wrong. A Manhattan can come “up” in a martini glass, or it can come on the rocks, but mine was served up in a martini glass with ice in it. Bond would have reached for his Walther. Then, after I fished out the ice before drinking, I could see the pour was about 50% short of what it should have been. Too bad.

Parking was easy to find, which I appreciated, and the room was very comfortable with great amenities. The price also felt excellent for the service and location, and it’d be hard to find such good value elsewhere in the region. The staff made a strong impression from the moment I arrived at Hotel Edelweiss. Everyone was warm, friendly, and ready to help. Annebelle in the dining area, Alex at the bar, and the woman at the front desk all went out of their way to make the stay comfortable and memorable. The hotel is perfectly placed in the region and offers wonderful service at a very reasonable price. I’d recommend Hotel Edelweiss for a relaxing, friendly stay with comfortable accommodation. I’m already planning to come back on my next visit.

The four-course dinner was delicious, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to try Swiss food. We had an amazing stay, with stunning views from the room. Daniel was really helpful, and the whole staff made sure we had a great time. Looking forward to coming back.

We drove to ski in St. Moritz, which was about seven minutes away, and the hotel was also within walking distance of restaurants and a grocery store. Our five-year-old enjoyed the small pool in the hotel spa, where children are allowed until 4:30 p.m. We were there with a baby and our five-year-old, and everything went perfectly. The staff were very helpful and made a great impression despite all the covid measures. Our room had enough space for an extra bed and a baby crib. Since we’re vegan, the hotel chef put together a custom dinner menu just for us, which was a really nice touch. We can definitely recommend this hotel.

The beds were the best, and we slept so well. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. We only decided on the spot to stay after Georgia at reception helpfully showed us four rooms.
