The waiters treated us very neatly, but they also had to handle reception because there was no receptionist. We’d booked a room on booking.com, yet it didn’t seem to be reserved for us. They did find us somewhere to stay, though we had to discuss things to make sure we wouldn’t be charged extra. The rooms look old, and the bathroom was very small. The shower didn’t seem suited to anyone taller than 1m70.

Breakfast was good and worth having. For dinner, though, I’d look at nearby restaurants: this one felt a bit overpriced and didn’t have a real vegetarian option. The location itself is very nice. Rooms are old school but clean and fully functional. Sound insulation isn’t great, and the mattresses are showing their age.

Room number 4 had loads of space and a great view of the lake. Breakfast had an excellent choice too. Sara at reception was really nice and friendly. I didn’t try the restaurant, but the stay was excellent.

A cozy little place, and one of the best value options near st Moritz.
