The boiler turned out to be broken, but the manager only appeared after we’d spent hours without hot water and offered no solution. He just shrugged, so we gave up and went to bed. We’d checked in around 22:00 after a full day of driving on a road trip, and all we wanted was a hot shower. When we told the receptionist, we were told the hotel was nearly full and lots of guests were probably showering. They asked us to run the water for 10 minutes, but it didn’t help. On our second call, they said nobody else had complained, probably because they were asleep, and told us to try again later. After three complaints, a room change was finally offered, but it was almost midnight and we still hadn’t showered. The next morning there was still no hot water. The front desk gave the same response, that they were working on it and we should be patient. No apology or initiative, just indifference. A guest shouldn’t have to leave with a problem ignored or unresolved.

The room was spotless and comfortable, and the amenities, especially breakfast, were excellent. The staff made us feel welcome, and the location was ideal. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. Highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful night here. Parking was great, the reception was great too, and it was easy to get out and on our way.

We only stayed one night and skipped the breakfast buffet, but we had coffee and tea in the breakfast area, which was nice. My husband and I liked the room’s tasteful design and cleanliness, and all the staff were very friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by this small hotel. I hadn’t expected much, but it’s chic, and the rooms feel well up to a 4Star plus standard. The beds are comfy, the rooms are warm and quiet, and the automatic blinds close when you leave the room. There’s a free garage, plenty of towels and toiletries, and lots of attention to detail. Definitely worth the price.
