Yellow Inn

The hot chocolate from the machine is really good, and the bathroom was extremely clean. The room and location were worth it, too. Markus replied to my questions very quickly and with all the details I needed. I'd highly recommend staying here, and if I get the chance to return to St. Gallen, I'll stay here again.

I've travelled all over the world, and Marcus has been the best host I've had by far. He's friendly and communicates really well, and the facilities are excellent for the price. Thanks for everything, mate.

Marcus really made our three-night stay at Yellow Inn, in Room 5 at the beginning of August. He's incredibly friendly and hardworking, always around keeping the place immaculate. Such a lovely person, and a real gentleman, who made us feel welcome. Our room was spacious, spotless and comfortable. There were spare duvets and pillows in the wardrobe, though we didn't need them in the warm weather. The shared bathrooms, each with a shower and warm water, were always clean. The well-equipped kitchen was a big plus, especially in Switzerland. The location worked well, with a bus stop and grocery shops nearby, and about a 20-25 minute walk to the train station or old town. I'd recommend staying here if you're in St. Gallen.

The internet was good, though it sometimes slowed down. Check-in was super easy, the price was great, and the simple rooms and shared bathroom were clean with hot water. Yellow Inn shows that a simple hostel can provide great service, and Markus is an amazing host.
