Hostel Pitsch

The location is quite good, close to the end of a slope so you can ski down to the hostel, and very near the ski lift up to signal too. Parking is free, though it may be confusing at first. You need to get a ticket from the owner for free entry and exits. For the price, the hotel was okay. The rooms were decent, but the shower was very small. WiFi worked only in the main lobby and dining area, not in the rooms.

We slept to the lovely white noise of the river beside the hotel, and Klaus was very kind and accommodating. He even paused what he was doing at breakfast to drive us to the station. If you have time, it’s also a pleasant 2km walk around the lake from the station. The room was basic but clean and comfortable, with an extremely powerful shower. A great little place for the price, and I’d recommend it for a budget stay.

The owner and staff were friendly, and the hostel was clean and very close to trails, the cable car, and ski runs. They went out of their way several times to help with our needs, which we really appreciated. The price was very good compared with standard hotels, and breakfast was provided each morning.

The room was cozy and just right for us as a couple staying for 2 nites. It was winter, with - 10°c outside, so having a hot shower was especially welcome. The owner cooked dinner, and it was delicious. The location is very good, right beside a bus stop and gondola lift. The owner and staff were so friendly they made us feel at home. We’ll definitely stay again if we go back to st moritz.
