10/10
Hotel Europa made our retreat in St. Moritz feel seamless. We had several spaces around the hotel for meetings, gatherings, and informal moments, which helped the multi-day program flow smoothly. The rooms were charming, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a modern alpine-chic style that felt comfortable and elevated. Our international group had a complex schedule, and the whole team handled it gracefully. From the moment we arrived, their genuine warmth and hospitality were clear, while the service remained highly professional throughout. Highly recommend. I can't wait to return.

We were disappointed by our stay. First, they gave us a smaller room in a lower category than the one we booked, while calling it an “upgrade.” They then showed us the room we had originally reserved, but it looked much darker than the online photos, which seemed edited. We do appreciate that the manager tried to fix things by offering a renovated room of the right size. The hotel still uses old-fashioned keys and had no spare bathroom key. One of us got locked inside, and the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. Instead of properly assisting, they told us not to lock the bathroom door again. There was no kettle, coffee machine, or tea, and water was supplied only on the first day. The phone in the room didn't work, and the room smelled bad. The service felt far below what you'd expect from a 4* hotel, and the price wasn't worth it at all. Given the location and the experience, we don't recommend staying here.

I’d told the staff I’m sensitive to strong smells, but my room had a chemical odor all night. It woke me 3-4 times, and I had a severe headache by morning. I asked for a partial refund because of how uncomfortable the stay was, but they refused. A disappointing experience that didn’t meet basic expectations for comfort or service.

The location was nice, but the room had an unusually strong smell that made it hard to rest overnight. The breakfast quality was very bad.

The night receptionist was funny, witty, thoughtful, and kind, and really made me feel welcome. He deserves the biggest raise in history. Five stars for service, all because of him.
