Hotel GRACE LA MARGNA ST MORITZ

The room was fantastic, and every team helped make the stay as good as it could be. Registration, the concierge, bartenders, breakfast staff and housekeeping were all attentive professionals. The ski rental staff got the boot fitting right and helped us choose skis suited to the conditions. They were awesome. Our driver was super cool, taking us to the lift and waiting to bring us back when we finished skiing. World class service all around.

The concierge made planning easy across the board, especially since I only started organizing this trip a week before we arrived. All the staff were friendly, gracious and helpful. The room was immaculate and comfortable, with a perfect lake view. My 18-yr old son and I came for a long weekend, with the hotel well placed for White Turf, skiing and local dining. We spent four days enjoying the spa, which was excellent for massages and hydro therapy. The attendants kept everything immaculately clean and tidy. A luxurious getaway without pretentiousness.

The lake view is partly over the railroad station, so it isn’t as good as at some other St. Moritz hotels. Even so, we were very pleased with the amenities, especially the shower, hair dryer and closets, along with the excellent breakfast and lovely croissant bar. Communication before our stay was exceptional. We arrived to Austrian sparkling tea and a tour of the room. The guest room was spacious, clean and well stocked with snacks. While we were out to dinner, they even brought a special dessert.

The small touches made Grace feel different from other hotels. Fresh fruit, cakes and nuts were left in the room each day, there was pillow service, the first round of minibar was complimentary, and the gym had protein bars and regularly replenished water. They also made a real effort for our birthday celebration. Even when we left in a privately organised taxi, they made sure the driver had water for the trip to the airport. It’s an expensive stay, but we felt we got our money’s worth because everything was handled so thoughtfully. We’d love to come back. We were met at the station by a very friendly driver, then welcomed with a drink and shown around the hotel. The facilities, from the rooms to the gym, are modern and stylish. We enjoyed the included spa, steam room and relaxation rooms. Breakfast was amazing, especially the croissant trolley, and dinner was great too, with the guinea fowl dish standing out. A classy hotel.
