I’ve just enjoyed my second stay here. The staff are fantastic, and the rooms and facilities are excellent. Breakfast was very nice too, with fresh baked goods from the bakery next door. Highly recommended.

Angela and Shila went above and beyond and made us feel like family. The hotel and restaurant are so quaint, family run, and the service was outstanding. Absolutely gorgeous, with great food too. Highly recommend, 12 out of 10 for sure!

The fish was great when we had dinner here. But the shrimp was listed as a main course and came as just 8 small shrimp, with no sides, for 34 CHF. That either needs sides or shouldn’t be called a main.

I booked one night through booking.com at 8pm on Tuesday, September 10th. They sent a very long message through the app, only in German, which I unfortunately don’t speak. I could make out that check-in was between 6 and 10pm. I let them know in the app that I’d arrive at 11:30pm. When I still hadn’t heard back at five minutes to 10, I called to ask how late check-in worked. The woman said they couldn’t wait that long. I was still far away, so I asked if they could cancel for free and let me book elsewhere. She agreed. After I sent the cancellation request through the app, they messaged again, also in German. They said it wasn’t right of me to mention my late arrival only after they contacted me, even though I had called, and claimed they’d lost sales because of my booking. They refused the free cancellation. You may sell rooms, but you’re definitely not hoteliers.

Good breakfast with fried eggs, cheese, and sausage, and the service was good and very friendly. Parking is free, though it’s better to reserve a spot.
