The lakefront setting made it easy to take quiet walks, and the bar had a breathtaking view. We came for my fiancé’s birthday and were especially impressed by how kind the bellboy was when we arrived. At checkout, Mr. Hannes Bach at the front desk was warm and professional too. The spa was beautifully kept and just right for a relaxing day away, while the whole hotel felt calm and luxurious. One night wasn’t nearly enough. We loved it and already know we’ll be back. It’s one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Thanks for making the birthday feel so special.

Aayush at the bar made a big impression. The cocktails were great, and he explained the science behind making them with real knowledge of the drinks. We also found the spa wonderfully relaxing. Everyone we met was friendly and knew the area well, and the concierge arranged restaurant bookings that worked with our allergies and diet. We loved our stay at Alex Lake and would recommend it without hesitation.

A thoughtful surprise awaited me on my birthday, a little chocolate pastry in the room even though I hadn’t mentioned the occasion at check-in. The restaurant served fine dining, with local beers and cocktails made to order if preferred. My family and I were there for one night at the start of a week in Switzerland. Our lake-level room was well equipped with a rollaway bed for my teenage daughter, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I left pleasantly pleased, well rested, and ready to continue our Swiss trip. I only wish we’d had longer to see Zurich. I’d highly recommend Alex Lake Zurich for a business or leisure stay.

On our second family stay here, we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Being right beside Lake Zurich is very convenient, and parking at the hotel was easy. The drive to the city center takes only about 15 minutes. The scenery is beautiful, the service is excellent, and we really liked the food. We’ll choose this hotel again on our next trip.

We stayed here in summer 2023 with our son, and it was our favorite hotel of the whole 12-day holiday. The location and amenities were sublime, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Sitting out on the terrace for a meal or a drink felt simply magical. We’ll definitely be back. ❤️
