At Casa Alva, the menu is the standout for me. Classic dishes get an inventive spin, with each course bringing together lovely flavors, textures, and aromas. The ingredients come from local farmers and suppliers, and the presentation is striking, almost like little artworks. From the moment you arrive, the place feels elegant, and the attentive staff are warm enough to make you comfortable right away.

We had an unexpected dinner with a recommended wine, and it was at Michelin-star level. Breakfast was just as thoughtfully presented and fresh, with the local bread as a highlight. This is a gem in a small town near Flims, with very friendly, professional owners and staff. The hotel and restaurant are great, and the rooms are clean, spacious, and finished to a high standard. Highly recommended if you appreciate good food and quality.

My family and I haven’t had such a fantastic dinner in ages. The food was delicious, and every dish was composed and presented with beautiful attention to detail.

We had a wonderful evening here with the kids. We all chose the seasonal menu, which was full of color and flavor, a treat for the eyes as much as the palate. The service was great and flexible with the children. There’s a good wine list and a nice range of digestifs, too. Don’t be put off by the menu price, it felt like very good value compared with many places in Switzerland.
