The room was spacious and nice, and the staff were so kind they let us have dinner after the kitchen had closed. We’d called beforehand to ask if that would be possible so they could prepare. It’s a bit expensive, especially the restaurant, though that’s quite normal for Switzerland.

The Swiss cuisine was beautifully prepared, and every plate we had from the Gildemenu was delicious. Waiters were friendly and lovely. The restaurant has a luxurious feel and offers good value for the quality. It’s perfect for a romantic occasion. I really enjoyed dinner and the hotel stay, thanks so much. Highly recommended.

It was pouring, and the restaurant where we’d planned to eat pizza flooded. The restaurant manager welcomed us warmly and found us a small table, even though the place was full and we had no reservation. We only had two glasses of wine, soup, and carpaccio before catching the next train, but everything was excellent. Thank you.

We came for one night in February 24 and wished we could have stayed longer, but the hotel was full. The service was superb, and the restaurant downstairs, run by a real chef, served excellent dinner. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with a balcony and all the facilities we needed. It’s about 1000 meter from the ski lift, with free parking, so it’s not ski in but still close enough.

Breakfast was excellent, and dinner was outstanding too. The restaurant was packed with locals in mid October, with a focus on local ingredients and game, and the wine list was just as good. The owners are charming and clearly passionate about the hotel and restaurant. Our comfortable, immaculate room looked out over beautiful Alpine scenery. A great discovery.
