Adventure Guesthouse

The price felt high for what was offered, especially compared with Swiss hotels of much better quality. Breakfast was very basic, and the fridge, hot water, tea, and coffee were shared. There was no elevator or in-room safety box, and the only bathroom item was a broken hand soap dispenser. Very bare-bones overall.

I’d only planned on one night, but once I got there I cancelled my other bookings and stayed two more. Loved the place, the area is great, and the hosts were lovely. Thanks so much!

The location made this such a good base for exploring the Jungfrau region. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Interlaken West station, and we loved watching the paragliders on clear days. During our stay, the landscape went from snowless to covered in the season’s first snowfall, with quiet snowy roads and mountains afterward. Breakfast is free, which is a real bonus in Switzerland, and it was well prepared. When the ham and cheese ran out, the chef brought more, though it took a little patience. The staff were attentive, and the place felt social and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. There are stairs up to the rooms, which could be tricky with very heavy luggage, but for us that was a small trade-off. For the price, the breakfast, location, and friendly service were great value. We really enjoyed our stay at Adventure Guesthouse Interlaken and would recommend it to travelers looking for a practical, fun place in any season.
