We only stayed one night before heading to the Lauterbrunnen valley, and the location worked perfectly. The room was cute, with a little kitchenette, everything we needed, and a fairly comfortable bed. Entry was contactless for us: we got codes for the building and room, which were easy enough to use, though there was no interaction with staff. We were about halfway through our trip and hoped to do laundry. To our surprise, they had free self-service laundry, so we ran a load while having lunch at the cafe across the street. We liked the place a lot. If you're not comfortable with technology or want more personal contact with staff, it might not suit you.

Check-in was contactless and smooth, and the place is close to both Interlaken West station and the town centre. The modern rooms are spacious and well equipped. I found the pillows could be better, and the water temperature kept changing.

We had a great stay in the top-floor two-bedroom apartment and wished we could have stayed longer. It was clean and pleasant, with nice skylight views, plus a washer and drying rack. One suggestion: get rid of the glass coffee table. It feels like someone could easily have an accident with it.

The staff were so kind, and the accommodation was wonderfully comfortable. Looking out the window at the mountains and river was a perfect part of the stay. My husband worries about bugs, but there weren't any, and he could open the window without concern. The bed and blanket were very comfortable, and the air felt clean. We both agreed that if we return to Switzerland, we'll stay here again. Thank you to the staff for their kindness. I hope to see you next time!

That mountain view outside was spectacular. Hotel Krone also has a cozy, welcoming feel, and it was spotless throughout. The recent renovations give it a fresh, modern look while keeping its distinctive character and traditional warmth. We found the location inviting too, and the experience was much better than I expected.
