The small touches made the stay feel special, from a handwritten welcome card with my name in the room to a bottle of water offered when I checked out. Service was friendly and attentive, and breakfast was perfect. My room was spacious and spotless, with a modest but stylish interior. An amazing hotel and a great experience, thank you.

The lodge is fine overall, and the room is new and comfortable. Check-in was super friendly, and it's an easy walk from the train station. This is a fairly new self-service place belonging to the nearby Hof Weissbad hotel. The breakfast arrives in a paper bag outside the room, with items chosen from a form the night before. I found the quality very disappointing: mostly supermarket products tossed into a bag, and the bread was soft and didn't taste very fresh. At CHF 200 per night, I wouldn't call it good value.

The lodge feels like a five-star hotel, yet it's closely tied to the beautiful mountain surroundings. Every detail seemed thought through, whether you're just passing through, doing outdoor activities, or coming to rest. Our group stayed one night and had an excellent breakfast at the hotel in the morning. The evening before, we had a delicious original Wienerschnitzel dinner at the 'Schnitzelhaus', where the chef himself welcomed us with Swiss cowbells, then spent the evening at the hotel bar.
