The spa was a great place to unwind, especially the jacuzzi and sauna, and the mountain views and nearby fields made the setting feel so peaceful. Everyone was welcoming and kind. Mr. Fabian, the owner, greeted us warmly and even offered us chocolates whenever we saw him, a lovely personal touch. I do wish the rooms had no carpets, for a fresher feel, and that the room service charge could be reconsidered since most hotels include it. Those were small suggestions, though. The room was really hot, but the staff were nice and turned down the underfloor heating. Breakfast was nice too. It’s a lovely little chalet-style hotel, a bit out of town, though there’s a bus every hour. Out back, a separate smaller chalet has a gorgeous spa, sauna and steam room, with mountain views and an outdoor pool. The “nude” rule needn’t worry you, you can easily wear a towel.

The owners were personally involved and attentive, which made the stay feel warm, welcoming and genuinely personalized. My husband has already reviewed the hotel, but I wanted to leave one too because it deserves it. They really operate at the level of at least a 4 star hotel. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be back!

The bed bug issue was awful. We found live bugs and remains on the bed, asked to change rooms, and ended up trying three rooms, including a suite. Every one had bed bugs. The place itself is cute, the view is nice and the staff are nice, but that experience is something I wish I’d known about before booking. I hesitated to leave a bad review, but I think people should know. Breakfast was delightful. The Michelin guide restaurant, though, was not good at all. The food was expensive and didn’t taste good enough for us to finish it.
