The food really stood out. My salad had colorful leaves and the dressing was spread nicely, then I ordered the Zürcher Geschnetzeltes. I’ve tried it many times, but this was easily the best I’ve ever had. It came piping hot and stayed that way until I finished. Huge credit to the kitchen for that. The service was exceptional too, and the place has a very nice atmosphere.

The room was tiny, especially the bed, and the interior was very plain. I was up in the attic, and there’s no elevator. The only feature of this hotel seems to be how expensive it is. I won’t stay again.

The rooms feel dated, bare and unwelcoming, and they’re small even by Swiss standards. The beds were poor and uncomfortable. For what they charge, I’d choose one of the much better options in town. It’s extremely poor value.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was fine for a single night. My room was a bit small and could use some renovation. Also, bells ring around the clock, so keep that in mind if noise bothers you.
