For a long weekend of skiing in the PDS, Chalet Rey-Bellet was very convenient. The ski room is just a few steps from the piste, and although Google Maps doesn’t show the underground road clearly, it gets you within about 100m of the front door by car. That’s handy for a chalet right on the slopes. It’s a small resort, but there are a couple of good restaurants in Les Crosets. The chalet itself is basic but clean and reasonably priced. It’s family run, the staff are friendly, and the continental breakfast was good. The family also put on a raclette evening on Saturday, which was delicious and fun. We’d happily stay again and recommend it for a weekend or a full week.

The weather was nice, and the chips were the best part, but the service was painfully slow because they seemed understaffed. Paying for food at the bar and then collecting it was disorganized. I paid for hot dogs, waited in line for 42 minutes, and by then they were all gone, so I was left with a croque monsieur. I won't be back.

The location is good and the staff are friendly, though it can be hard to find on foot because there aren’t enough signs. Breakfast was fine. In my opinion, the room quality was average for the price.

Avoid this place. During the same lunchtime, the bar lady charged me for extra drinks twice. I don’t think it was a mistake.
