Freeride Hostel Bar

I had my birthday here with a big group, and the hostel staff made it all work smoothly. It was a magical birthday. The hostel is well located with beautiful views, and everyone on staff was kind and helpful. The rooms are clean, with plenty of showers and bathrooms. A great base for skiing or a summer in the mountains.

Thibault is a welcoming, helpful host, and his cheerful personality makes evenings at the hostel bar warm and fun. The shared spaces and rooms are clean and spacious. The view is splendid, and being close to the ski station made the holiday feel really worthwhile. Best hostel I’ve stayed at so far.

The kitchen is well stocked, with a fridge freezer, and opens onto a nice chill-out area with tables and chairs. There’s also a bar with a good beer selection and lovely tonic for gin. Our room was clean, roomy enough, and had warm bedding. The showers were clean, hot, and had great pressure. There’s space for ski gear by the entrance. It’s a great find, just a five-minute walk from the lift. A small parking area is outside, with other parking nearby. We’ll book again!

You’re surrounded by mountains here, and the garden has loads of soft couches. The place is beautiful and everything is new. The living room is really comfortable, and there’s even an oven, an oven! I’ve never seen that in a youth hostel. Your room card also gives access to the chair lift and other activities, though we only used it for hiking via the chair lift. Thibault, the owner, is super welcoming. Thanks a lot, man 🙏. You’ll probably run into the station’s seasonal workers here 😉. Tim
