Hotel Lenzerhorn – Alpine Stay, Spa & Savour

The wellness area was the highlight for us: we had a wonderfully relaxing massage, and there were two kinds of swimming pools. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant, where the food was excellent and the staff friendly. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was decent overall, although it seemed a little off on the last day, possibly because of staff shortages; it didn't spoil the stay. On our final day, I accidentally left my purse in the room safe, and the staff promptly arranged to send it to my house. We really appreciated that. Thanks for such an enjoyable weekend getaway. We'll come back and recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Everything was perfect. Carmita and Ana Sofia stood out most for their kindness and warm welcome. I'll definitely return.

The outdoor pool is great, and the hotel is handy for the bus stop, with ski access right back to the door. Reception staff were very helpful. A few things could use attention: the ventilation in our room, number 25, didn't seem to work properly, the pillows were poor, and the hotel is a bit maze-like. Better signs would help, for example, showing the way to the ski storage room.

The location is good, but two problems brought the service down to three stars for me. On the first night, I barely slept because the mattress on the armchair, which was meant to be a bed, was too small. The bodies were very short, and I was freezing. Later, I lost 10 francs to the pinball machine, which wouldn't start. I asked for help getting the money back and was told a technician would arrive shortly. I went to reception two or three times, and after half an hour they finally returned it. The rooms also get a two because of the bed problem. Edit: even the staff response to my review has let me down, so I'm taking another star off the service.
